This site will guide you through the steps of creating an effective and professional letter to local or state lawmakers expressing your opinion about a current proposal before them. The issues that you will find addressed here will include:

1. Mandatory Spay and Neuter when exemptions require your dog be registered by a privately controlled registry and/or you belong to a privately controlled organization.
2. Anytime the term owner or ownership is changed to or interchanged with the term guardian or guardianship.
3. Whenever an area proposes to ban veterinarians from performing ear-cropping and/or tail docking surgical procedures on dogs that are of an age that is considered appropriate for such procedures.
4. Wherever a proposal is being considered that will single out one or more breed or breeds of dogs and mandate additional requirements by the owner/s based solely upon the breed or breeds.
5. Whenever insurers restrict or refuse homeowner’s insurance to a homeowner based solely upon the presence of a specific breed or breeds of dog at the home.

Our active campaigns will include only those areas listed where a discussion or vote is imminent within 14 days or less.
