Welcome to Paws4Laws! We have launched a nationwide project to help you communicate with your
local legislators about anti-canine legislation.
Issues include proposals concerning: mandatory spay
and neuter, guardianship, ear/tail docking, breed-specific legislation, and home insurance. These
proposals have the potential to negatively impact your life as a dog owner, exhibitor, competitor,
or pet owner. Your immediate participation in the following campaigns is essential, as a discussion
or vote on these issues is imminent.
Our current campaigns include the following:
American Falls, Idaho
- The city council has proposed a breed specific ordinance.
Please be sure to edit the subject and the leading statement to reflect your own wording.
Also, make sure that your finished letter ends in a complete sentence.
Save your completed letter to your computer, print it and then send a fax to the numbers provided within.
Omaha, Nebraska
- The Mayor, City Council, Police Chief, and Humane Society will be submitting a proposal on whether or not to BAN 'pit bulls' within 2 weeks.
Next scheduled meeting is July 15, 2008

Omaha residents should also make phone calls to City members.
